Delta + All Hands and Hearts
Delta Restoration Services has partnered with All Hands and Hearts (AHAH), an organization whose mission is to help communities recover from natural disasters. AHAH is ranked in the top 10% of national charities, with 96 cents of every $1 going to their programs. As a property restoration company supporting families and companies whose property has been impacted by disaster, our mission and values align strongly with All Hands and Hearts’ mission to efficiently and effectively address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters.
Most recently, the team has been on the ground in Los Angeles since early July working with various partners to assist the community with COVID-19 related needs, such as food distribution & testing. In the wake of Hurricane Laura in Texas & Louisiana, they have set up base camps in Kirbyville & DeQuincy to help with tasks such as chainsaw work, debris removal, and mucking & gutting homes.
By listening to local people, and deploying their unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, All Hands and Hearts rebuilds safe, resilient schools, homes and other community infrastructure. Through volunteer and community engagement, All Hands and Hearts aims to help families recover faster after natural disasters, using their “smart response” strategy. By rebuilding in a disaster-resilient way, AHAH prepares them for future events and, through the process, strengthens both volunteers and communities.
