DUTIES

  • First responder for water, fire, smoke, storm, mold, and board up emergencies
  •  Fire/smoke deodorization, pack outs of belongings, board ups, and securing structures
  • Water extractions, cleanup and removal of damaged materials and/or contents that cannot be salvaged
  • Job-site prep
  • Mold remediation including demolition and clean up
  • Report to the Emergency Services Supervisors and Manager
  • Communicate with customers
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and warehouse
  • Working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Apprenticing assigned Lead Emergency Services Technician

  • Fire/smoke deodorization, pack outs of belongings, board ups, and securing structures
  • Assessment and removal of damaged materials and/or contents that cannot be salvaged
  • Mold remediation including demolition and clean up
  • Report to the Emergency Services Supervisors and Manager
  • Mentor Technicians in proper techniques and company procedures
  • Communicate with customers
  • Determine plan of action to perform onsite work to industry standards
  • Perform and delegate tasks that are required to complete scope of work
  • Review company paperwork, expectations and scope of work with Customer
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and warehouse
  • Work in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
  • Review projects with department at weekly meeting and with Supervisor daily
  • Ensure proper safety procedures are being observed at all times
  • Complete appropriate field paperwork and project documentation
  • Participate on-call rotation

Arvada insurance, property restoration firm needs a personable, well organized Construction Supervisor to oversee small to mid-size re-construction repairs following water and fire damages. You will manage the project from estimating to final close out. We offer an excellent opportunity for the right person.

 

We will provide training and support to assist the right person with this position. You will be acting as a Construction Supervisor which includes: handling the initial estimation of the job, customer relations, insurance communications, and negotiations, subcontractor relations, job scheduling and ongoing, site supervision.

The following would be the ideal skill set for the position:

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills and professional appearance — You will interact with customers on a daily basis
  • A proven background in residential construction; overseeing subcontractors as well as employees.
  • Ability to oversee and manage 30 to 40 projects at one time from initial job walk to final close out.
  • Computer estimation skills as well as proficient with Microsoft products. Xactimate knowledge is very helpful.
  • Insurance knowledge and experience are very helpful. Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of Associate Degree is preferred.

Must have a good driving record with 6 points or less and a clean background with no felony convictions. Our insurance contracts require a full background check. We also have pre-employment and random drug tests. We have a strict grooming policy that requires professional uniforms, no visible tattoos and no facial hair.

Delta Disaster Services is seeking an experienced, organized, and personable individual to fill our Emergency Services Manager role.  

We are a full-service restoration firm in the Denver Metro Area that specializes in helping with clean up from water, fire, and environmental disasters for commercial and residential properties.

DUTIES

Manage and oversee the mitigation department including technicians, supervisors, coordinator, fleet, warehouse and all emergency services work. Managers pay is a base salary plus commissions. In addition, they will receive a bonus on projects that meet margin goals. 

  • Must present yourself and the mitigation department in a professional manner with appearance and demeanor while maintaining and building the company reputation.
  • Develop and maintain department budget
  • Approve or estimate all Emergency Services division jobs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors
  • Overall profitability of the department
  • Review P&L’s on all jobs.
  • Review, correct and approve all department employee timesheets
  • Oversee shop and fleet
  • Secure new jobs. Develop and maintain customer relations and negotiations including both home owners and insurance companies
  • Utilize all field forms

  • Assist with any receivable issues.
